Security officials said Sunday that Hamas will likely beat Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party by a small margin in the PA parliamentary elections scheduled for Wednesday, January 25. Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet with Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to discuss Israel's options of policy towards the PA under Hamas leadership. On Saturday, close to 60,000 members of the PA security forces voted in order to allow them to police the polling stations on Wednesday.
