Former IDF chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. (res.) Dan Shomron was selected on Tuesday to look into the performance of the General Staff during the second Lebanon war.
The IDF reported that Shomron had responded to a request by current Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz.
