Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket from the northern Gaza Strip toward Israel early Tuesday afternoon, raising the day's missile tally up to six.
The rocket landed in an open area of the Sha'ar Hanegev region, and no one was wounded, nor was damage caused.
The Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the attack.
