85 percent of Israelis think Defense Minister Amir Peretz should follow in Chief of General Staff Dan Halutz's footsteps and resign, according to a survey conducted by Channel 10, Wednesday evening.
The survey also said that 73 percent of Israelis considered Halutz's resignation to be the right decision, and that 69 percent thought Prime Minister Ehud Olmert should resign as well.
63 percent of those surveyed thought early elections should be held in Israel.
