Ta'ir Rada murder suspect retracts confession

Roman Zadorov, the suspect who confessed on Tuesday to the murder of 13-year-old Ta'ir Rada earlier this month, retracted his confession on Wednesday, claiming that he had been under extreme pressure. In addition, it was discovered during an initial investigation that Zadorov was not an Israeli citizen. The Russian immigrant, who entered Israel in 2000 as a tourist and remained in the country, was found to be using a fake work permit after two years of living here. Zadorov married an Israeli citizen in 2005 and only then began the process of acquiring citizenship.
