Tamir: I'm 'cleaning up the garbage and the s**t' in the education system

In a rare outburst Tuesday, Education Minister Yuli Tamir said she was "cleaning up the garbage and the s**t" in the education system. Tamir was speaking in a Knesset Education Committee meeting on educational reforms. During the meeting, Kadima MK and former director-general of the Education Ministry, Ronit Tirosh, claimed that Tamir had whispered in her ear "piece of s**t." Tirosh urged committee chairman MK Michael Melchior (Labor) to call Tamir to order, but Tamir responded, "I didn't say that, I said that I am cleaning up the garbage and the s**t that you left."
