Alexander Galuhoi, 41, was charged in a Tel Aviv court on Monday with the murder of his father in an alleged attack that took place two weeks ago. Galuhoi, believed by authorities to suffer from a mental illness, allegedly stabbed his father Zeher, 68, to death in the family home in southern Tel Aviv. The attacker's mother, Margarita, attempted to defend her husband, and suffered light injuries. According to reports, the family was having breakfast when Alexander leaped up without warning, grabbed a kitchen knife and began repeatedly stabbing Zeher.
