Tiberias: Man arrested for trying to bribe cop out of checking his license

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Friday after he tried to bribe a police officer out of conducting a routine traffic check.
According to reports, the suspect had offered a traffic officer NIS 500 in order to not check his license. Police later discovered that he had been driving on a suspended license.
The man will be brought before the Nazareth Magistrate's Court this morning for a hearing on his remand. His car has been impounded for 30 days.
