Traffic police crackdown results in 900 tickets

Traffic police issued no less than 900 tickets to wayward drivers on Friday night, Israel Radio reported. During a special traffic crackdown operation, 29 drunk drivers were caught, 28 drivers had their licenses revoked and 64 vehicles were taken off the roads for serious traffic violations or various mechanical deficiencies endangering road security.
