Two seriously injured in separate road incidents

Two people were seriously injured in two separate car accidents in the Haifa area on Tuesday evening. An 80-year-old man was hit by a car while crossing the road and evacuated to the Carmel Hospital in serious condition. Police are investigating the driver of the vehicle. In a second incident, a car hit a man who was tending to a malfunction in his vehicle on the side of the road. The man was seriously injured and taken to Rambam Hospital.
