A 35-year-old US citizen was seriously injured Friday evening, during a protest against the West Bank security barrier at the village of Nil'in near Ramallah. The man was evacuated to hospital after receiving medical treatment on the scene. Some 400 Palestinians and left-wing activists took part in the protest, which turned violent after rocks were thrown at security forces. The IDF said troops dispersed the protest.
