A 60-year-old woman was stabbed in the head by her husband in Beit Shemesh Sunday, police said.
The woman, who was moderately wounded in the late-morning attack, was rushed to Hadassah University Hospital at Ein Kerem.
Her husband, 60, who is also suspected of beating his wife with a bottle, fled the scene but was arrested shortly thereafter by police.
He refused to cooperate with police investigators.
Police said that they had no prior record of domestic violence between the couple.
