Yishai signs directive to provide vital services to Sderot, Gaza belt

Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai signed a directive Sunday to facilitate the recruitment of workers in Sderot and Gaza belt areas to ensure the provision of vital services to residents. The order, in place until the end the end of March, hinges on a government declaration of a special emergency situation in the home front. The order will enable the recruitment of workers to facilities that provide welfare, communication, health, water, electricity, food and postal services to the area, as well as the recruitment of local authority workers according to specific circumstances.
