Legendary designer bids farewell

After 50 years of activity, Gideon Oberson, Israel’s legendary fashion designer and his daughter Karen will say goodbye to their dedicated clients in their grand finale show, which will take place in Tel Aviv Port.
Oberson, who received a lifetime achievement award, will continue designing his extremely successful swimwear line.
“We will screen the fashion shows during Tel Aviv Fashion Week on a big screen that will be placed on the main deck so that local visitors and tourists can enjoy it,” says Dan Menashe, Tel Aviv Port’s CEO.
On Thursday, Oberson arrived at Tel Aviv Port to watch the final rehearsals for the upcoming show, were 40 models who worked with Oberson during the years, will walk.
The models that will walk in the show include Pazit Cohen, an ex-swimwear model that lives in Miami and who is known for a provocative photo that created buzz back in the 80’s; Ilana Shooshan and Dganit Harlap.
