Residents of Beersheba are being warned that the city will soon begin work on one of its busiest and most central intersections, causing traffic diversions for the next six months, reports www.mynet.co.il. The Rambam-Beit Eshel intersection, which separates the city market from the old city, sees thousands of cars passing through every day and is a chronic source of traffic congestion, and the city plans to install traffic lights to ease the flow of vehicles. According to the report, work will begin on the intersection at the end of this month. The roads around the intersection will be closed in stages and buses and private vehicles will be diverted to surrounding streets.
