Astrith Baltsan is a concert pianist, has a PhD in musicology, and is a scholar and lecturer, whose specialty is communicating the sources and stories of “Hatikva,” the national anthem of Israel to audiences in Israel and around the world.“I am also a ‘magician,’” she says with a brilliant smile. “My job is to bring music to life.”
