2 US soldiers killed, 6 wounded north of Baghdad

Two US soldiers were killed in fighting north of Baghdad, the military said Thursday. The Multi-National Division - Baghdad soldiers were killed and six others were wounded Wednesday during combat operations in an area north of the capital, according to a statement. The deaths raised to at least 3,702 members of the US military who have died since the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The monthly toll rose to at least 44.
