3 Iraqi children killed by mortars while playing soccer

Three Iraqi children were killed when they were hit by an insurgent mortar attack while playing soccer Tuesday outside a military supply area, the US military said Wednesday. Seven other children were wounded in the attack near Balad, about 80 kilometers north of Baghdad, the military said. They were treated at a military hospital.
