Bahraini Foreign Minister makes one day visit to Iraq

Bahrain's foreign minister has arrived Baghdad on a one-day visit.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry says Sheik Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa is due to discuss bilateral relations with the Iraqi officials.
Saturday's statement did not give more details about the schedule.
Last month, the Gulf nation named Salah al-Maliki as ambassador to Baghdad.
The visit was the latest move by Iraq's mostly Sunni Arab neighbors to restore ties damaged by Saddam Hussein's rule and the US-led invasion.
