The international blockade imposed on Gaza is not fulfilling its objectives of weakening Hamas and is just causing great suffering to the civilian population of the Strip, European Union Ambassador to Israel Ramiro Cibrian- Uzal said Monday. The EU envoy said changes to this policy needed to be considered, calling for a reopening of the Gaza crossings and a resumption of trade with the terrotory, Army Radio reported.
