The US top military commander in Iraq - Gen. David Petraeus - was in Lebanon Wednesdasy, and was expected to hold meetings with Lebanese defense officials, according to Lebanon's official news agency.
The National News Agency said Petraeus arrived on Wednesday aboard a US military plane with an American military delegation. The visit was unannounced.
