A group of about 20 masked gunmen entered the Palestinian Education Ministry on Sunday, evacuating the workers before holing up inside. Palestinian police surrounded the building, calling on the gunmen to leave. The gunmen are demanding jobs. Masked gunmen in the impoverished Gaza Strip have often taken over government buildings, leading to standoffs and at times gunbattles with police.
