Hamas officials: IDF arrests several political leaders in West Bank

Israel arrested at least seven prominent Hamas leaders in a pre-dawn West Bank sweep Thursday, according to group officials. There was no immediate comment from the IDF on the arrests, which were confirmed in part by relatives. The detainees reportedly included Nasser Shaher, a former Palestinian deputy prime minister, and several Hamas lawmakers.
