Iraq: 2 US soldiers killed in roadside bombings

Roadside bombs killed two US soldiers in separate incidents in Baghdad, the US military said Wednesday. One soldier died Monday when a bomb detonated during combat operations in an eastern section of the capital, the military said in a statement. Another soldier was killed and two others were wounded when their vehicle struck a bomb in southern Baghdad early Tuesday, the statement said. Both soldiers were assigned to Multi-National Division-Baghdad. Their names were withheld pending family notification.
