Iraq: Second car bomb explodes north of Baghdad

A car bomb targeting an Iraqi police patrol exploded near a market north of Baghdad, killing at least five people and injuring 15, police said. The bomb was detonated by remote control shortly after 10:35 a.m., police said. Baqouba, a mixed Sunni-Shi'ite city 60 kilometers northeast of Baghdad, has been hit by a string of explosions since the Feb. 22 bombing of a revered Shi'ite shrine in Samarra triggered a wave of sectarian violence.
