Mashaal: 'We will accept the cease-fire as a strong move, not a weak one'

"Hamas will accept the Egyptian offer of a period of calm as a strong move and not a weak one," said exiled Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal Saturday. "We are waiting for the official answer from Israel in regard to the calm, and according to their answer we will publish our final stance," he said at a press conference in Qatar. "We have requested a reply from the Egyptians that clearly defines the requirements and obligations from Israel regarding the cease-fire," he continued.
