Mubarak, Saudi Abdullah reportedly slated to meet Assad

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Saudi King Abdullah are expected to meet Syrian President Bashar Assad on Wednesday, a Saudi news agency reported. The three leaders are expected to examine ways to strengthen ties between their countries. According to Army Radio, analysts see the meeting as symbolic of a change in Saudi policy aimed at weakening the influence of Iran on the Arab world.
