Mubarak arrives in Jordan to update King Abdullah on meeting with Assad

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak made a surprise visit in Jordan on Thursday and met King Abdullah in Akaba, Israel Radio reported.
According to the Jordanian news agency Petra, Mubarak updated the Jordanian king on the reconciliation meeting he held with Syrian President Bashar Assad on Wednesday in Riyadh.
Mubarak reportedly returned to Egypt immediately following the meeting with the king.
