The Hamas-led Palestinian Authority government has agreed to renew a cease-fire with Israel, but demands that it apply to the West Bank, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday morning. According to the report, the government has also demanded that Israel free the Hamas ministers and officials who were detained last summer. Meanwhile, the Israeli government rejected an offer by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to expand the cease-fire to the West Bank only after it had been in effect in Gaza for a month.
