Palestinian Authority security forces deploy in Hebron

Palestinian security forces are deploying in Hebron as part of President Mahmoud Abbas's program to strengthen his control over the West Bank.
Around 550 officers are taking up positions in the city, the third in the West bank to be reinforced with forces loyal to Abbas.
The IDF announced its approval of the move on Wednesday night following a meeting between senior Israeli and Palestinian security officials.
