Suicide bomber kills 16 in remote area in northwestern Iraq

An Iraqi official says 16 people have been killed and 14 wounded in a suicide bombing in a remote area in northwestern Iraq. The top official in the town of Sinjar says the bomber blew himself up among a crowd of men at a police recruiting center. Dakhil Qassim says 14 of those killed in Thursday's blast were recruits and two were policemen.
