Five Syrian officials wanted for questioning by a UN commission into the assassination of former Lebanese Premier Rafik Hariri have left for Vienna, a Syrian official said Sunday. "The Syrian witnesses and their lawyers have left Damascus for Vienna" for interviews by UN investigators that will begin in the Austrian capital on Monday, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press. The interviews are expected to last until Wednesday. No details on who the officials were or how they traveled to Vienna were provided.
