US: 33 suspected insurgents captured in Iraq raids

US forces killed one suspected insurgent and captured 33 others in raids across Iraq, the US military said Saturday.
Most of the operations, which took place late Friday and early Saturday, targeted al-Qaida in Iraq and locals accused of providing support to the terror group, the military said in a statement.
