4 killed in car collision on Arava Road in South

Four-year-old, 2 parents, and grandfather killed after car hits bus and splits into two; baby girl still fighting for life in hospital.

Four people were killed in a car accident Thursday, when a car lost control, crashed into a bus, and split into two pieces on the Arava road.
The accident occurred near Kibbutz Grofit, en route to Eilat.

Among those killed was a Four-year-old boy, both of his parents, and the grandfather.
The family's one-and-a-half year old baby girl was still fighting for her life at the hospital.
Eight additional people were injured in the fatal accident, with one seriously injured and the others lightly wounded. They were being treated by an MDA team at the scene.
The Arava road was blocked in both directions due to the accident, and police asked drivers to take Route 12, the alternative road to Eilat.
