The couple was discovered when their 30-year-old son arrived at the apartment.

A woman from a neighboring apartment also called emergency services saying that her neighbors had been murdered.

She reported having heard screams coming from the apartment during the night, but said she had not informed police.

Magen David Adom paramedics called to the scene of the incident pronounced the couple dead.
