Man dies, two children injured after truck, car collide in Gadera

Paramedics treat injured on scene, evacuate three children, woman to Kaplan Medical center in Rehovot.

One man died and six were injured after a truck and a vehicle collided at Kanot Junction near the city of Gadera on Thursday morning.

MDA Paramedics treated the injured on the scene, and firefighters from Kiryat Malachi came to attempt to rescue one of the men, who was trapped inside his vehicle. He later succumbed to his wounds on site.

Three people were seriously injured, including a woman who was sitting in the drivers seat. MDA Paramedics treated her on site with severe head injuries.

Paramedics also treated a 7-year-old boy with abdominal injuries, and a girl, aged 4 for a head injury.

The son of the woman, a toddler aged 3, was in a moderate condition.

Paramedics evacuated a woman, who was critically injured, and the three children to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.
