A 25-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting in the industrial area of Ashdod on Sunday night.

Paramedics were forced to pronounce the victim's death after efforts to resuscitate him failed.

Police set up roadblocks in the area in hopes of finding the suspects.

It is suspected that the shooting is the latest in a number of underworld assassinations that have been carried out across the country.
