Ivanka Trump took to social media on Friday in defense of the privacy of Malia Obama.
The internet was abuzz last week with rapid-fire commentary on Malia Obama's Harvard high jinks. The 19-year-old former first daughter was photographed kissing a classmate at the annual Harvard-Yale football game tailgate, and the peanut gallery had plenty to say.
"Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers. She is a young adult and private citizen, and should be OFF limits," Ivanka tweeted.

Vanity Fair pointed out that Chelsea Clinton also spoke up in Malia's defense, posting shortly after Ivanka, "Malia Obama's private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait. Be better."

Last week was tough for Ivanka, too, when she posted on Instagram a picture of an oversized clam stuffed with debris as a suggested Thanksgiving center piece. Twitter erupted with criticism of the picture and US President Donald Trump's politics.
