Israeli 9 year-old found on highway alone, 5 km from mother

The boy was crossing the highway to look for a hat he had lost.

A 9 year-old boy was found crossing the fast lane on highway 2 near the Yanai Interchange north of Netanya on Tuesday evening.

The boy was crossing the highway to look for a hat he had lost. Police found the boy's mother in the area of Havatzelet, which is about five kilometers from the Yanai Interchange.

The boy was taken to a police station and his mother was called in to clarify what had happened.
