The Hamas military wing succeeded in briefly hacking into Channel 10's satellite broadcast on Monday.
The Palestinian Islamist group interrupted the news coverage of Israel's second most popular commercial channel by flashing images of wounded Gazans and the message: "Your government chose the time to launch this campaign. Your government will not agree to our terms, so prepare yourselves for an extended stay in the bomb shelters."
Since the start of Operation Protective Edge, Hamas has hacked into one of the news channels on more than one occasion, though this is the first time that viewers have complained.
