Chris Watson had an outstanding game against hisformer club as Ironi Ramat Gan claimed its first win of the BSL seasonon Monday evening.
Theteam coached by Daniel Gutt defeated fellow struggler Hapoel Holon85-78 at the Zissman Arena with Watson contributing 18 points off thebench.
The first half was tight, finishing in a two-point Ironi lead(37-35), but the home team came out firing on all cylinders at thestart of the third period.
With 2:30 left in the quarter Ramat Gan had stretched its lead to 14 points (60-46) and was heading for triumph at long last.
WhileHolon put up a fight in the fourth, cutting the Ironi advantage toseven points, it wasn't enough to give coach Miki Dorsman a second winin his second game back in charge of the team.
