Israel Ladies Open Amateur Champion Laetitia Beck is proving her credentials as one of the most promising Israeli golfers in the history of the game.
Last week the teenage star stormed to victory in the prestigious Doral Publix Junior Golf Classic in Miami, Florida.
Beck, 18, shot a 69 and two 70s in the 54-hole tournament to finish five shots ahead of Spaniard Camilla Hedberg Bertrand in the girls 16-18 yrs section.
The score of 209 was the second lowest score ever posted in the history of the tournament in the girls 16-18 yrs section.
The lowest ever score of 204 was registered in 2002 by Paula Creamer, at present one of the top golfers on the Ladies PGA Tour.
Beck is due to attend Duke University next year after graduating from the Leadbetter Golf Academy.
