Games We Play- Socce: Phishpo earns win in stunning comeback

Phishpo claimed their first win of the season in a superb fight-back, defeating My Office Jerusalem 2-1 in the Moshiko Soccer league last weekend. My Office took an early lead through a sensational Shimi Goldstein solo effort, but was denied a second by solid Anshel Luftig defending and great Yakov Rose keeping. After the break, captain Yossi Abu inspired a fantastic Phishpo turnaround with Shlomi Bakst scoring twice giving Phishpo a huge step in its quest for a precious playoff spot. D.C also claimed its first win of the season with a 10-0 thrashing of the Bugs. Moshe Lifshitz scored an impressive six, Daniel Cohen three and Netanel Lavid added a tally as the league debutante D.C finally found its form. Rafi Smith claimed a hat-trick, Josh Zneimer a pair, and Nissim Karasenti and Bensi Loonstein one apiece in Club Med's 7-3 defeat of Netiv, while the Giblets won their fourth on the trot, this time at the expense of Smoke Shop. Top scorer Micha Rechdiener scored four and Ronny Perel, Eli Gilbert and Avihan Margalitz also scored in the 7-0 rout.
