In one of the most exciting games of the 2005 amateur softball in Israel series season so far, Contact International stormed back from a 9-2 deficit to beat Aztek 11-10 in the last inning at Kibbutz Gezer on Friday. Aztek broke out to the early lead by scoring nine runs in the first three innings. Strong pitching by CI's Marc Bodner and even stronger fielding, anchored by Dan Harelick at shortstop, held Aztek to one run over the last four innings as the CI offense began to chip away at the gap. Going into their final at-bat, CI was four runs down (10-6). Consecutive hits by David Kaplan, Michael Raskas, Chaim Forst and Saul Kaszovitz put CI within one run. With the bases loaded and two outs, Amnon Eisner cracked a single down the left field line for his third hit of the game and drove in the winning runs.
