The target for Anastasia Gloushkov and Inna Yoffe is simple – reach the Olympic final.
The duo will be taking part in its third straight Olympics, and after missing out on a top-12 finish in the Athens Games (17th) and in Beijing (15th), will be desperate to take one more significant step and realize the career-long dream of making an Olympic final.
Yoffe retired from the sport after the 2004 Olympics, but made a return two years later and the duo recorded its most impressive result in the 2010 European Championships, finishing in seventh place.
Last year, Gloushkov and Yoffe placed 14th in the technical duets competition at the World Championships, and should everything go their way in London, they just might make that elusive final at the third time of asking.
