Despite an abundance of rumors, there were no further staff changes at Betar Jerusalem on Tuesday, a day after club owner and president Arkadi Gaydamak unexpectedly sacked the entire top level management team. Throughout the day Israeli sports Web sites claimed that former Maccabi Netanya coach Reuven Atar has been offered a year-long contract. However, Itzhak Schum was still the coach on Tuesday and led a training session at the team's training ground in Jerusalem. Center back Arik Benado insisted everything would be okay, but there is a continuing air of tension surrounding the club with Sunday's Premier League clash with Maccabi Tel Aviv at Teddy Stadium fast approaching.
