The Palestinian soccer team wants to reschedule its Asian Cup qualifier against Singapore after failing to turn up for Wednesday's match.
The players could not get out of the violence-stricken Gaza Strip due to IDF operations in the area, Palestinian soccer federation head Ahmed al-Afifi said Thursday.
Wednesday's no-show was the first time the team missed an international qualifier, al-Afifi said.
Singapore's soccer association said the case will be submitted to the AFC's competitions committee.
