Anastasia Gloushkov and Inna Yoffe all but booked their place in the Beijing Olympics on Monday, finishing seventh in the duet synchronized swimming final at the European Championships in Eindhoven, Holland. The Israeli duo, which had to end the competition among the top nine teams to meet the Olympic Committee of Israel criteria, will have to finish in the top 16 at the pre-Olympic competition in April to officially guarantee itself a place in the flight to China, but isn't expected to have any trouble doing so. Israel's swimmers enter the pool on Tuesday and will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Gloushkov and Yoffe and clinch themselves an Olympic berth. Thirteen of Israel's 17 representatives will compete on Tuesday and over the next seven days they will all be aiming to finish among the top 24 of their respected swims to meet the OCI's criteria.
