Passenger suspected of carrying materials for a bomb arrested in Florida

A man found to be carrying materials in his suitcase that could have been used to make a bomb was arrested Tuesday at the Orlando International Airport in Florida, officials said. Behavior specialists with the Transportation Security Administration spotted the suspect about noon, but authorities would not say what made them suspicious or what was found inside the suitcase. "If what (authorities) described is accurate it's probably one of the most serious security incidents at Orlando International Airport ever," said Congressman John Mica, a Florida Republican and ranking member on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, who was briefed on the matter. TSA checked the man's luggage and "found suspicious items - prohibited items that were suspicious in nature - and suspicious enough for us to report him over to local law enforcement," said Lee Kair, federal security director at the airport said.
