El Al records $31.7m. profit in 2007

El Al's cash flow from regular ongoing activities in 2007 was $231.2m., an increase of about 136% compared to 2006.

El Al ended 2007 with a $31.7m. net profit, compared to a loss of $33m. in 2006, company executives announced last week. The company's operating revenue last year was $71.4m., compared to a loss of $8.5m. in 2006. El Al's annual pre-tax profit was $40.4m., compared to a loss of $40.7m. in 2006, the company said in a report. El Al's cash flow from regular ongoing activities in 2007 was $231.2m., an increase of about 136% compared to 2006. The company also reported a growth of 4.4% in aircraft seat occupancy, from 81.3% in 2006 to 84.9% in 2007.
